05.14.26 (Thursday) May 2026 Breakfast Meeting – Assisted Living, Under God’s Roof
Details
The Catholic Business League is excited to welcome Rick Borofski, president and CEO of Mary, Queen of Angels Assisted Living, to our next Breakfast Meeting on May 14!
A seasoned healthcare executive with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in national and regional health systems, Rick has served in executive roles across organizations ranging from $1 billion to $12 billion in revenue, building a track record of financial turnarounds, physician model transitions, and quality improvement. His experience across integrated health systems and senior living gives him a unique vantage point on how to lead organizations through the challenges of today’s value-based healthcare environment.
During the meeting, he will discuss the three ministries under his purview — Mary, Queen of Angels, Villa Maria Manor and Marina Manor East Apartments — and share the Diocese’s future development plans to increase its healthcare footprint in Nashville. The core vision for his leadership is best reflected in chapter 25 of the Gospel of Matthew: “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Beyond his professional work, Rick has served on the board of a local Catholic school, championing access and equality in education, and has coached youth baseball. He and his wife Karen — an award-winning author, whose book sale proceeds went to a community in Africa to train people to sew — have four children and live in Franklin, where they are parishioners at Saint Philip.
The meeting begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Fleming Center at The Cathedral of the Incarnation. Mass is offered at 7:00 a.m.
All are welcome!
