The Catholic Business League is pleased to welcome Davidson County General Sessions Judges Ana L. Escobar and Melissa Blackburn to the Catholic Business League Breakfast Meeting on September 10!

These two have been integral in navigating the legal issues facing Davidson County for several years. Judge Escobar has served for nearly three decades as an assistant public defender, an assistant district attorney, solo practitioner, Metro Clerk, and Deputy Director of the Administrative Office of the Courts. Judge Blackburn has been a strong advocate for children — especially those who have suffered the horror of sexual abuse — while also serving as the presiding judge of the Mental Health and Veterans Courts, working to provide assistance to the mentally challenged and the veterans of the community.

We look forward to discussing the key legal topics in the county with these two highly respected individuals in Metro Government!

We will also be introducing our ninth class of Leadership Catholic at this meeting, as they prepare to embark on a year-long program of faith-filled mentorship and growth as leaders!

The meeting begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Fleming Center at The Cathedral of the Incarnation. Mass is offered at 7:00 a.m.
