A Change of Plans at our March Breakfast Meeting—New Program Announced

20170309_084252

Technical difficulties with the audio-visual system at this morning’s Catholic Business League Breakfast Meeting at Cathedral meant that our guest speaker, Dr. James O’Neill, couldn’t access his in-depth presentation on his philanthropic work here and abroad. As a result, the leadership decided to invite Dr. O’Neill back at another date to share his stories of his wonderful work as a Pediatric surgeon and educator. Dr. O’Neill was so gracious and understanding of the issue, and he is happy to return for another CBL meeting. Stay tuned for more details.

However, there’s always something happening with the CBL, and we’re nothing if not flexible. Instead of Dr. O’Neill’s presentation, CBL President Drew Rodgers invited CBL Vice President Steve Horvath to present information on a new program—Leadership Catholic—designed to provide connections between experienced Catholic business leaders and recent grads and up-and-coming business professionals to develop more leaders and expand the work and the membership of the CBL. The program will launch this fall, and more details will be announced at the April meeting.

In addition, you should have received a survey this morning about the CBL. It is a brief survey that will take less than five minutes to complete. We hope you’ll take a moment to provide us your feedback. You can access the survey by clicking here.

See you on Thursday, April 13, as we welcome Beth Seigenthaler Courtney, president of DVL/Seigenthaler, to our April Breakfast Meeting.
