Dr. Arie Nettles, a respected childhood psychologist and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University, took time out of her Thursday morning on July 9 to speak with the Catholic Business League via Zoom, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Dr. Nettles enlightened us with information about her work on unconscious bias and shared how we can all strive to mitigate it in not only our professional, and everyday, lives. She also shared tidbits from her life and upbringing, and by the end of the talk, numerous participants were asking how they could request Dr. Nettles to speak at their parishes. CBL’s Margaret Brooke moderated the discussion, and Father John provided opening and closing prayers.
You can listen to the entirety of Dr. Nettles’ talk and this morning meeting by clicking here. You can also view it on the CBL Facebook page, where it is pinned atop.
Thanks yet again to our sponsor for this month’s meeting, Vanderbilt University, Division of Government and Community Relations.
