Tom Turner, president and CEO of the Nashville Downtown Partnership, spoke to a packed house on Thursday, May 9 and brought with him many updates about the happenings in downtown Nashville. Needless to say, downtown is thriving!

With the development of hotels, restaurants and apartment living, downtown Nashville is becoming more and more of a place to work and live every day. Tourism also continues to be a boom to the economy, with flocks of people coming to Music City for both business and pleasure. As Tom noted, hotel prices in downtown Nashville are nearly double Midtown Manhattan on any given day. Clearly, the demand is high, so the supply will only continue to increase.
