We’re honored to have John P. Bumpus serve as our speaker at our April breakfast meeting. An accomplished businessperson, devout Catholic, and an active leader in many charities, we look forward to hearing what John has to say.

John has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for LifePoint Health since 2009. He initially joined the company in 2005 as senior vice president in Human Resources. As a member of LifePoint’s Executive Leadership Team, John provides direction and oversight in the areas of strategic management, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, communications, and capital and construction management. Before LifePoint, John served as vice president of Human Resources for Province Healthcare Company and previously spent over 20 years as a human resources and strategic planning business partner with Kroger. For his undergraduate studies, John earned his Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University. John currently serves on the Board of Trustees on Father Ryan High School, as well as three other not-for-profit boards — the United Way of Williamson County Board of Directors, the Advisory Board of The University of Tennessee Knoxville in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the board of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

A lifelong Nashville resident, John graduated from St. Joseph in 1974 and Father Ryan High School in 1978.
