05.08.25 (Thursday) May 2025 Breakfast Meeting – Affordable Housing, One Door at a Time
Details
The Catholic Business League is excited to welcome Matt Wiltshire as the speaker for our next breakfast meeting on Thursday, May 8!
Matt is the President of the Pathway Housing Fund (PHF) and a Senior Vice President at Pathway Lending, a nonprofit community-development financial institution based in Nashville. PHF utilizes low-cost capital and public-private partnerships to acquire naturally-occurring affordable housing properties in Tennessee that are at risk of becoming unaffordable due to gentrification.
Matt ran for Mayor of Nashville and Davidson County in 2023, finishing third in a field of 12 candidates. Prior to his mayoral candidacy, Matt had accumulated plenty of experience in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, he served as the Chief Strategy and Intergovernmental Affairs Officer for the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA), the public housing authority in Nashville, with previous experience at the Mayor’s Office in Nashville and a 15-year career in investment banking and venture capital.
A graduate of Hume-Fogg and Dartmouth College, he has served as the president of the board of Hands On Nashville and on the executive committee of the boards of the Center for Nonprofit Management and the Tennessee Justice Center. Matt is a recent convert to Catholicism, and he joins his wife Crissy, their three children and their three stepchildren as parishioners at Christ the King.
The meeting begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Fleming Center at The Cathedral of the Incarnation. Mass is offered at 7:00 a.m.
All are welcome!
