Thursday morning’s Catholic Business League breakfast meeting brought more than 15 of the Diocese’s seminarians to The Cathedral for an update on their lives and their studies.
The event, as expected, drew one of the largest crowds of the year, with more than 85 people in attendance. Several of the seminarians spoke to the group about their progress and what it means to prepare for this sacrament. And while Bishop David Choby was unable to be there in person, he was certainly part of the comments, with loud appreciation from the audience for all he has done to build the clergy since becoming Bishop 10 years ago.
Part of the more than two dozen young men studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Nashville, the group is a diverse one. They are also young men who are making our community proud…and a little anxious to have them ordained so they can begin serving our Catholic population.
